In Memory of Hope

Hope, one of our trained dogs, passed away. She had been in intense training since January 2010 for contraband training. She started working with the Department of Corrections in Nevada this past summer. Hope was an extremely fun dog to train and always ready to go. She will be deeply missed.

Unit Citation

Roger and K-9 Abbey received a Unit Citation Pin and Hazardous Duty Citation on October 29, 2008 from the Davis County Sheriff’s Office. The award was received related a pipe bomb case in 2007. The efforts from several agencies and K-9 units led to an apprehension and conviction in federal court.

2007 Awards

Abbey and Roger take 1st place (EDD Explosive Detection Dog) at the 2007 U.P.O.A. K9 Trials in Logan, Utah. Abbey and Roger take 5th place (EDD Explosive Detection Dog) at the 2007 West Valley City K9 Trials.
